Welcome to Kingfisher Park Birdwatchers Lodge, which is named after the Buff-breasted Paradise Kingfisher that visit to breed within the grounds from late October through to mid-April.
The Lodge consists of self-contained units, bunkhouse, camping and caravan sites in a rainforest environment. Walking tracks allow easy access around the 5 hectares (12 acres) of grounds, taking you through the rainforest into an open grassed orchard and onto the permanent waters of Bushy Creek.
Upon arrival at the lodge you will be given a comprehensive bird list for the area plus maps of the local birding hot spots and up to date information on possible places to find particular bird species.
