Kirra is located on the Southern Gold Coast, Queensland Australia. Kirra is located only a short drive from Coolangatta Airport. Kirra Beach is a renowned surfing beach and has played host to the Billabong Pro Surfing Championship. Kirra is the home of Queensland's first surf club. Between Currumbin Point and Coolangatta Beach are four named well known beaches Tugun Beach, Bilinga Beach, North Kirra beach and Kirra Beach at the southern end and finishing at The Point.
