Rock Climbing

Experience the thrill of indoor rock climbing in one of Queensland's largest climbing centre's. Indoor rock climbing is fun and challenging and is available to beginners through to experienced rock climbers. 

It is an ideal activity for families and couples with all first time climbers presented with a comprehensive safety briefing. There are qualified insturctors available at all times to help assist climbers. 

The centre offers a huge range of climbs from the beginner level climb to the challenging overhanging routes for the advanced climber. Climbers as young as 5 years old and people in their 60's have climbed in the centre; you don't have to be super fit to rock climb.

Abseiling

Paramount can access two natural rock face locations for abseiling.  One of these is on private property in the beautiful Numinbah Valley which provides a very picturesque location to experience the thrill of abseiling. The short drive out to the valley is especially scenic with glimpses of Hinze Dam and its surrounds, as well as wonderful hinterland escarpments. 

The other venue is Kangaroo Point cliffs in Brisbane, right on the river with it’s own unique outlook of the stunning city skyline. This venue can also be accessed at night as it is fully lit for a truly different abseiling experience.

Kayaking

The Gold Coast offers a variety of awsome water ways that can be explored by Kayak. Paddle through canals line with multi million dollar mansions and then experience the wide expanse of the Gold Coast Broadwater that features Wave Break Island and South Stradbroke Island.  

Other fantastic areas include Currumbin Creek and Tallebudgera Creek with its scenic mangrove formations, through to the sea way openings to the Pacific Ocean. 

You will be able to view the Gold Coast from a perspective that very few people have experienced. Qualified instructors are on hand at all times to guide and assist you. The kayaks are two person sit on top crafts that are very stable and easy

to paddle.

Mountain Biking

The beautiful Gold Coast Hinterland offers a unique mountain biking experience for tourists and locals alike. Paramount Adventure Centre has access to a number of these world class locations for its mountain bike tours. 

These areas include Nerang State Forest and Hinze Dam, both offering excellent trails for both beginners and advanced riders. There are spectacular views and a good chance of seeing some great Aussie wild life. 

Riders are provided with quality bikes and helmets and are given valuable technical instruction. Safety is a very important component of the tour and a comprehensive safety briefing is covered before the riding begins.
