Go Ride a Wave and their Learn to Surf school are located at Noosa Junction opposite Koala Backpackers. Learn to Surf with our qualified surf school instructors or just hire the equipment and give Surfing on the Sunshine Coast a go by yourself.

Go Ride a Wave run 2 hr learn to surf classes and surfboard hire everyday from their shop.  Our shop also stocks retail surf wear, surf boards, wetsuits and accessories, open 9-5pm everyday.

Go Ride a Wave is the biggest surf school in Australia established in 1987. Go Ride a Wave teaches thousands of people to surf every year. So no matter if you are 7 or 70 years old, or whether you are an elite athlete or a couch potato they can teach you to surf. Clients are taught by friendly and helpful surf school instructors who are fully qualified in surf life saving, first aid and surfboard riding.

Surfing is a recreation! Catching a wave is great fun, so it doesn’t really matter if you stand up or fall off, as long as you enjoy yourselves.
